OLD BUSINESS

Tuesday night is our night for VA fishing.   The event starts at 6:00.

We were 125 to 130 people short for the Wounded Warrior hunt.   We believe the weather was a factor. Overall, it was a great event.   Letterkenny will host a picnic for the event next year.   We may attend and will have busses available to transport anyone interested in attending.   "Thank you" to everyone involved for all the time and effort they put into the event.

NEW BUSINESS

John Boggan resigned from the club effective May 5, 2010 at 3:47 pm. He resigned due to a conflict of interest.

There was a fly rod found at Marquette Lake.   Contact the club if you know whom it belongs to.

Eleanor thanked everyone that helped acquire donations for the event.   She also thanked the crew that cleaned up after the event.   Additionally, blue, long-sleeve shirts are in.   The cost $21 each.   Please see Eleanor if interested.

Les made a motion to make Matt, Karl, Bill and their crewmembers of the club, effective October 2010 (our new membership year).   Russ seconded the motion.   The motion carried.

Matt Morette said the DVD would be done mid-December 2010.   It will air on television in February and in April 2011.

Special thanks to Nick and Clint.   Great job on the fish this year.   We had a phenomenal trout year.

There is a work party for the nursery on June 5 and June 12.   Nick is asking for angle iron and supplies.   Nick would like a lot of help.   Start time is 8:00am.   Bring shovels, rakes, and hammers.   Joe Resta will try to get angle.

Dan made a motion to give nursery what they need (up to $300) to make nursery improvements.   Eleanor seconded the motion.   Motion carried.

We lost approximately 400 trout, possibly when the nursery was vandalized.

Joe Hovis:   Great job on the hunt.   He would like times from all volunteers for any time they spent on the event for gathering donations, setting up, tearing down, etc.   He has been charged with a brief.

Range control needs help with stuffing envelopes for a newsletter.   Joe will let us know more later.

Charlie Fetterer has been diagnosed with esophageal cancer.   Hunter education class dates will still be on July 9 and July 10, 2010.   We will clean up the clubhouse at the June meeting.   Be here at 5:30 to start cleaning.

FOR THE GOOD OF THE ORDER

Al Schwartz made a motion to adjourn the meeting it was seconded by Danny Miller.   The motion carried.
